Here are all the results.
There was no stopping East Cobb Select, which fired three shutouts—including a 6-0 blanking of Diamond Blue in the bracket finals—en route to the championship. Diamond Blue made a dramatic run into bracket play. They rallied in the final inning to defeat the Brentwood Orioles and earn a spot in the bracket semifinals, then upended the top-seeded Crusaders 6-5 to advance to the championship game.
The Duluth Noles brought their hitting shoes to Knoxville, posting double-digit runs four times in six games—including a 10-0 result over the RBI Tri-Cities Reds in the bracket finals. Duluth won its first three games in pool play by a combined score of 42-0.
All four teams that advanced to bracket play—the Noles, the Reds, SI Prospects from Black, IL, and Tri-Star Baseball—were the class of the division.
Rain wreaked havoc on the schedule but TN Xplosion emerged from the weather to win four games on Sunday to claim the division crown. The Xplosion went undefeated on the weekend and blanked both their opponents in bracket play, shutting out Cross Hit Red 1-0 in the division finals. Elite Training Academy, which fell to Cross Hit in the semifinals, went 4-0 in pool play with a roster that featured several promising prospects.
Pro Concepts, Ozone Warriors, Propexs 17U and Cross Hit Baseball 18U were the class of pool play, finishing with a combined record of 14-1.
