Sept 24-25, Tournament Recap

There was a "red alert" in the Middle Tennessee Classic this weekend. Cross Hit Red emerged as the only undefeated team in the two-day tournament, played at Cumberland University and Volunteer State. 

Cross Hit Red was clutch in close games; two of its four wins were decided by a single run. It also posted a 5-2 victory over the CAAK Wildcats and walloped the Phoenix Cardinal 15s by a 14-0 margin.

Five teams posted 3-1 records: Cross Hit Black 16U, MJ Sting Baseball Club, HITS Elite, CAAK Wildcats 18s and the Mid South Prospects. Old Hickory Generals and the TN Express both compiled 2-1 marks. 

No bracket play was held as part of the tournament.

Oct. 1-2: Tennessee Smokies Fall Classic

 Play where the pros play! Smokies Park in Sevierville, TN, the home field of the Double-A Tennessee Smokies, is hosting this event, which will feature competition in both upperclassman and lowerclassman divisions. Four games are guaranteed and cost is $625 per team, but a maximum of 24 teams will be accepted so do not wait to reserve your spot today.

 Oct. 8-9: ETSU Fall Showcase

 East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN, plays host to our final big event of 2016. Four games are guaranteed, with play in the upperclassman and lowerclassman divisions. Cost is $625 per team, but a maximum of 24 teams will be accepted so hurry to reserve a spot!
